Nobody warned me about my bank statement - distributors charging the account for dozens of shipments, card settlements from the processor, Google Checkout deposits and PayPal transfers.

This is going to take a while

Yep, and the worst part is reconciling Paypal. Their interface is so slow and the transactions are so confusing.

What I hate the most about paypals history feature is you cant do a normal search. It has to be Email, first name, last name, etc..not just say a business name.. /boggle

Heh after two years of SWG, I played two years of EQ2.

60 Days (from release date) of Vanguard was 59.5 days too long.

Necros FTW

I play Eve Online now because it's something I can put away for two weeks and not worry about raid participation or DKP.

LOL..Vanguard...couldnt wait for it to go live. That game was the WORST game I have ever seen go live. Hey..there is no zoning instead you just freeze in place for 30sec while the mob you where just killing kills you instead.

I took a break for about a year and am now back to WOW and *trying* to limit my game time as I really dont have the time but you cant work 24/7 or atleast shouldnt LOL.

Vanguard:

Best $30,000,000 ever spent on eye candy

Best $12 ever spent on user interface and mob aggro

Kocho the bard here from Everquest 1. :)

I made the site EQDiva.com - it has almost 15,000 members. I stopped playing 4 years ago, but apparently they still want the site to live on...

Played a few other MMPORPGs but EQ1 made me quite well-known at the time. :) Kinda fun walking into any Best Buy and having someone "know" me.

You ever try silkroad online? It is pretty cool, and the right price...Free! Only problem is you can't get on during the day because the servers are full of players from Asia. I guess they make their money from people purchasing special items.

There were quite a few old Able employees that were hooked on EQ for a long time. I myself moved on to Vanguard when it first released and just recently canceled. I actually really liked VG, but with the low amount of players it just wasn't the same. It did improve drastically over the last year though.

I was really pumped for Vanguard and played it in beta and since day one. We played for a couple months but some things like town lag and chunk lines just got to me I guess. It was a good game but I wouldnt say it was any better than EQ2.

I am still waiting for a new game to come out that can take it to the next level. If anyone knows of any promising medieval mmorpg's on the horizon please let me know.
