I can't find a way to do this... I tried copying the product and then moving the copy to the other category, but then when I do a list of all products, it shows the products twice.

I'm worried this will screw up our inventory....Will it count the products separately or as the same item?

When editing a product select the Categories button. From here you can put a check next to as many categories as you would like the product to appear in.

Yes don't copy the product record so you can list it in multiple categories - that will screw up your inventory.

You use the product screen to put checkboxes into all the categories you want that product to appear in - system handles the rest for you.
