UPS does not ship to PO Box

Our shipping provider is UPS and they do not ship to post office box addresses. Is there a way in AC to detect for PO box shipping addresses and notify the user to enter a different shipping address?

Thanks,
Gio

we have several sizes available for our polo shirts. How do I setup AC to track the amount of different shirt sizes in stock? Currently we are out of stock of large white polo shirts and want to display that information if our visitors try to purchase that item.

Thanks,
Gio

Please disregard the question about tracking inventory of shirt sizes. I accidentally posted the question in the same thread as the PO Box question.

The only way I know is to modify the checkout page code to parse the ship-to address for a PO Box address and fail page validation if detected.

I haven't seen anywhere (yet) that prevents PO Box address entry - I'd like to block it too but haven't taken the time to modify the checkout page.

We're having this problem too. This is really something that should be part of able commerce by now.

Has there been any progress on this? I apparantly don't have access to bugzilla so cannot check the status of the bug. I'm running AC 7.0.7 and would like for the USPS shipping option to show up if users enter a PO Box. Currently I have to put in a list of zipcodes that I downloaded from the postal service, but it doesn't seem to be comprehensive as some orders have gone through. I'd rather not have to hack the code, this is something that should be part of AC already as it's a standard business practice.
