I just received a RC3 upgrade email.
I didn’t see any mention of a change or fix log in it, is there a change log? If yes where can we view it?
Thanks

6647 normal Paypal > can it work in a medium trust environment?
Is this worded correctly? or should it say:
Paypal will now work in a medium trust environment.

Hello,
It's from the original bug post title. The names have not been changed to protect the innocent.

Thx Mike, I'm going to take that as a "fixed"

There are restrictions in a medium trust environment. As of right now, PayPal Express Checkout and Website Payments Pro will not work in Medium trust. We rely on the PayPal API for these features, and it currently requires full trust. I know they are aware of the issue, and have said they will probably address it in some future release.
What DOES work is the old "Pay Now" buttons. You can configure PayPal as a payment method and if the gateway is configured, customers will see the paypal button on their order invoice. That can be used to collect ayment. IPN also works, so once payment is complete your store will be notified.
When using PayPal like this in medium trust, you must ensure that you have configured your gateway to use SALE mode. Authorize mode is not an option, because according to PayPal you will never be able to capture the transactions.
I did the best I could for the issue. PayPal will have to produce an API that works in medium trust to enable the other features. The above information is set to be put together on our documentation site.
