ShipWire to my understanding, isn't a shipping provider but it is a complete replacement shipping system of your whole shipping process. What kind of integration do you have in mind? What kind of API do they provide for integration?

Basic integration like Order Submitter, Tracking Status, Real-Time Inventory integration. There are sample API's with code provided on there website http://help.shipwire.com/c/how-it-works ... per-tools/, http://help.shipwire.com/c/how-it-works/carts/.

Interesting concept, but I think I'm missing their advantage as it relates to AC7. Is it a better interface for managing orders?

In the end, if you could write the programming to inter-connect everything to them via XML, couldn't you just write the additional functionality they provide directly into AC7?

Maybe I'm missing something..... :?:

I want someone who knows how to integrate with thirdparty plugins for ShipWire to automate shipping. Basically the order will be sent via ShipWire fulfillment like you choose FedEx or UPS shipment methods. Please let me know if anyone knows how to integrate with Shipwire or need to custom development for a Shipwire module. Checks their site for steps: http://help.shipwire.com/xml-order-submitter-faq/.
I don't have expertise in coding, I am hoping someone is interested in doing so to help others.

Hello Yogashop,

I'm Nate with Shipwire. I missed your post when I visited before after talking with Mike at AC

A few thoughts.

1) Please feel free to call us and we'll help you work through a few options. 888-Shipwire
2) Please contact the kind people at AbleCommerce and make them aware that you would be interested in a Shipwire module. I've reached out a few times to see if we can get a connection going.
3) We have a few work arounds that can get this going immediately.
4) To Mazhar's comment. We can fully replace a warehouse or augment your existing solution. We also have a full XML API that can be written to http://help.shipwire.com/c/how-it-works ... per-tools/
4) SolunarServices, Shipwire would be an extension to AbleCommerce. We are an order fulfillment powerhouse. We have actual physical warehouses in Los Angeles, Chicago, Reno, Toronto, Vancouver and just launched to warehouses in the UK. Merchants send us inventory which we store and ship to end-buyers. This kind of service goes under a variety of terms: fulfillment, pick pack, warehousing, 3PL (third party logistics), freight or logistics provider. We're not a drop shipper; but, we can help merchants move up from drop shipping.

If anybody is interested in coding a module and wants assistance please contact nate at shipwire dot com

Yogashop, I look forward to talking with you.

Nate
