Paypal changes???

Did paypal make some changes that anyone knows of?

I had 2 order this week that showed as "waiting for IPN" yet the payment posted to paypal.

In the past "waiting for IPN" generally meant the customer bailed during chekout. I am not sure what changed if anything but its not good considering I was telling customers the payment didnt go through when it did. If it matters they where both international and did not have confirmed address's etc. They must have changed something again..I will go see what I can find but be on the lookout for AC telling you payments have not been made when they actually have.

Happens to me all the time. I can go weeks without a single PayPal flub. Then one day I'll get one/all of these things happening:

1. Waiting for IPN - no paypal entry. Customer just bailed on the order after they went to paypal. Probably a problem with their paypal account. Half the time they return and pay with CC.

2. 3-5 "blank orders" come through after the initial order is stored. It's as if PayPal is resubmitting the IPN post to my site multiple times, probably a traffic issue. This is the key reason I created a Delete Order feature on my site.

3. Waiting for IPN - paypal payment record in PayPal merchant screen. It's like the IPN post was never sent to my site. I blame global warming.

It seems to be mainly if not all a foreign payment issue. I get the "waiting for IPN" when the payment actualy is in my paypal account.

Then I had a customer yesterday say

When I click the button to go to
Paypal and complete the transaction, I get to a page where it (Paypal)
complains about something the likes of "the link contains an invalid
amount format"

This one didnt get paid because it wouldnt let him evidently.
