Skipjack Authorization Mode?

According to the documentation on the Payment Gateways page, Skipjack supports both Authorize and Authorize & Capture. However, when you go to add or edit the gateway, there is no "Authorization Mode" section to allow you to chose which mode of Authorization you want to use.

Does Skipjack support both modes, or is the documentation incorrect?

Please advise as it is capturing funds before I ship out my products and I don't want that to happen.

Thanks,
Mike

A quick review of the code show that SkipJack does not support Authorize and Capture in one step. You have to do it in two steps first Authorize and then Capture.

Interesting ... here is an order history log from one of my test orders. I wanted to submit it for Authorization only. Once the order went through, I deleted the payment and canceled the order. The following day, the funds were captured from Skipjack. Any thoughts?

I am going to throw out a guess... deleting a payment is not the same as voiding it. Did you delete the payment so that it was completely removed from the order?

I think I deleted it because I didn't see an option to void it, but I'll double check to see if there is a void option.
