Hi,

I downloaded the trail version. My system is Windows Vista using IIS 7.0. I followed the install instructions to the point where I click "Continue to Admin". Clicking this resulted in an error about the AbleCommerceHttpModule not appearing to be configured. I switched the application's Application Pool to "Classic .NET AppPool". This suggestion came from this post.

After doing all of the above I hit my back button and received this error:
" IP is not in valid dot-LSDecimal notation (x.x.x.x) "

I get the same error when navigating back to the install directory (http://localhost/AbleCommerce7/install/default.aspx).

Any help getting this installed so I can check out your product is greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Mark

Hi,

I think I found the answer to my own question. I set trial to access my localhost via an IP (127.0.0.1) and that seems to work.

Yes you found the answer. On Vista installs you have to access localhost via 127.0.0.1. This will be corrected in an upcoming release.
