Order placed, charge card info present, but no address info

Post by jmestep » Wed Jun 11, 2008 11:11 am

I just had a client email who had an order completed with order items and charge card info, but nothing in the name and address fields. They are using RC3 and are not using a payment gateway, just running the charges manually later. Has anyone seen this? I looked at the customer browsing history and they had done a lot of browsing and adding to basket, then the checkout pages were accessed 1 1/2 hours later. In the customer profile, they are listed as anonymous and no email address either.

Hi Judy,

Yes, we've seen this issue. It happens when an anonymous user sits on the final checkout page for too long. The maintenance routine in the prior build was designed to remove the anonymous users. It's been fixed in the upgrade to final but make sure to also complete the post-upgrade fix for bug 6867.

For more information, please see the change log -

Thanks,
Katie

Thanks, Katie. I had found that info when I upgraded a site the other day and notified the other site of the fix.
