How to view what was entered on the "Name on Card" field?

Sometimes this is different and when you add a second payment it only pulls the name that was entered in the billing address and not the "Name on Card" filed in the payment section. Where is this stored?

First, you have to be running the final version of AbleCommerce because this was fixed in build 9879. You also need to have SSL enabled to view the account data.

Go to Configure > Security > General
Make sure that you have Enable Credit Card Storage checked and some number of days to save the data.

Go to an order that was placed (after making the above change) and click on the Payments tab. There will be a link "Show Account Details" which will show you the name on card, cc number, and expiration. Of course, you can also find the same information if you login to your merchant account.

We are using AC 7.0.3 and have storage and SSL enabled as you mention above, but when I follow you instructions above the 'Account Details:' field is following with an 'n/a'?

We we need setup a subscription / recurring payment, but our payment gateway doesn't support this. However, it does support manually setting up a scheduled payment, which would work for us.

The problem is, we need the customer CC number when they make the initial payment via our website (AC).

We have storage and SSL enabled... how can I go in via the Admin interface and pull out the CC number on an order? We don't need to AVS / CVV...

I would really appreciate some help with this!

If you just enabled it, it will not reveal credit card information for orders placed prior to when you enabled credit card storage. It's not retroactive.

The other possibility is the order date is beyond what is set for the number of days to save credit card information. Once the order date goes beyond that number of days, the credit card details are automatically purged.

maybe some caching going on with client or server- it takes a few minutes for updated card storage setting to take effect. My first test failed, and the DB field with payment info was NULL. a few minutes later another test worked as expected.
