Evaluation Questions

I'm evaluating AbleCommerce 7.0 and have the following questions:
(a) How can I limit a customer such that they can only purchase an item once. (e.g. one per customer). This needs to be one item per customer, not one item per cart (a customer cannot just create several orders one right after the other to bypass the restriction).
(b) How does a customer cancel a subscription. If I setup a trial period of 45 days, what is to prevent a customer from canceling on day 44 and re-subscribing, thus getting a fresh 45 days?
