Hi,

I'm from Brazil and will be using AC7 as my e-commerce software. I need the "best" performance possible because I will be using several AC7 sites. I will be using dedicated servers.

I will be using 2 dedicated servers for AC7 sites, the config of both:

Intel Xeon 3040
2 GB RAM
2 x 250 GB SATA II HD (RAID 1)

Is this enough? Of course I know that everything depends on number of sites, traffic etc.

Is it a good idea to have AC7 and the Database on different servers?

Any suggestions to improve overall performance?

We show the minimum and recommended hardware requirements. As you said, a lot depends on the sites and how much traffic you anticipate for each.

It is definitely a good idea to separate your SQL server and webserver.
