Relating Webpages to Products

Hey guys, my first post on AC7, so bear with me...

I'm just getting into AC7 and noticed that the database structure has changed quite a bit since 5.5. I think I have a lot of it figured out, but one thing that seems to be lacking is the ability to link products and webpages.

AC 5.5 had the Object_assn table that allowed linking any object to any other object. We used it to link products to webpages or links, like instructions, detailed information, other resources, etc.

AC7 seems to only allow for linking objects to categories through the ac_CatalogNodes table or linking products to other products through the ac_RelatedProducts and ac_UpsellProducts tables.

Is the ability to link webpages and links to products a feature that was dropped from AC? Or is it just hidden somewhere that I can't find?

Likewise, it seems that an item's visibility has been moved out of the relationship to the category and to the object itself. So a product or webpage can't be visible in one category and unpublished in another. Is this correct, too or am I again just missing something?

Thanks!

I think you can add the link from the right menu in the category browse.
Then on the next screen put the link in the link URL.

As for your second question, I think you are correct- it can't be different in different places. I don't think you could do that in 5.5 .net either, maybe just in cfm.
