Weird behavior with Categories

Post by fatone » Mon Jul 28, 2008 11:19 am

I have been building my site with the final version of AbleCommerce 7.0 and saw some weird behavior today. I added a category called 'Grants' and then added a web page underneath that category. It showed up fine as one of my categories, but now when I click on any category it takes me to the Grants web page.

I have restarted the webserver, I have cleared the cache, I have tried it both in Internet Explorer and FireFox and have also cleared the category cache.

I also went as far as to delete the 'Grants' category and webpage created.

Has anyone seen this behavior before? If so, how do I fix it?

I fixed the issue, it has to do with me changing the "Content" link under the Editor Zone. I changed it to the 'Grants' scriplet I created, which changed it for all category pages. I just wanted it to change for the current page.

How is that possible?

Create a copy of WebPage.aspx and rename it and then create another scriptlet for this page only. Assign this scriptlet to newly created page and use that for this page only.

I did this, but how can I get the webpage I created to open directly when the user clicks on the newly created category?
