Hello,
i have question regarding paypal payments ...
the way it works right now :
- Customer choose he wants to pay with paypal
- customer click on "Checkout with PayPal"
- customer is then redirected to recipt page
- Customer finally clicks on Pay with PayPal

is it possible to skip the last stip , since most abadonment appears to be from that step . i.e , customers redirected from the recipt page to paypal right away ? or right from the beginig , when he clicks check out with PayPal ..

Thanks !

It's possible but it's tricky. Because of the way PayPal works, AC7 must store the order to the AC7 tables before the leap to PayPals site. The way the checkout page is written, the order isn't stored until the receipt page is generated.

I had the same issue when I took PayPal. The only other alternative I thought of was moving the final PayPal button to the top of receipt page instead of the bottom - having it way down so low made it easily missed by my customers.

This was actually a big problem with our current software - then they converted over where a customer checks out with paypal - then gets his receipt.

We got TON's of abandons with the way Able does it now.

Do you mean Express Checkout ?
if the user is already registred , does AbleCommerce link his paypal express checkout order to an actual order . i.e if he is not anonymous
