AbleCommerce Shopping Cart Software

I would like to gather a little data about what your favorite part of ablecommerce is.

If you are a website developer, designer or store manager please give some indication of how you interact with ablecommerce, what you love most about it and how it compares to your last online store software.

I do not work for ablecommerce. I am relatively new to this software, and I am finding great functionality everywhere. I want to make sure I am not missing anything.

Ok I'll take a shot:

Order Statuses

From an order management perspective, it gives the small guy like me all the flexibility I need to effectively manage any number of orders. It scales whether I'm doing 5 orders a day or 45 a day. I can add new statuses any time I want and even control what the customer-side of a status reads as opposed to my side. In all my experience, I don't recall a single post complaining about the design of the order status system. Combined with how the Dashboard represents the order status list, it's really quite effective at overall order management.

I would say the Usability of the admin area is my favorite part so far. Everything is very accessable. The basic information is available at the first level of navigation. It seems very straight forward and it works like you would think it should. Usability is often overlooked in software development especially in the ecommerce area because so many of the ecommerce solutions are organic applications that have grown from older technologies. Ablecommerce seems very diliberate and organized to me.

Order Management looks really fantastic. I just filled a demo site with data and it is exciting to see it all the charts and order screens with real stats and data.

Obviously this is coming from a biased source, but what I like about AbleCommerce is it's very well rounded without weakness in any areas. It's certainly the finest Asp.Net product at anything close to our price point. Our user community in the forums is terrific !!

Nice looking Admin and store templates
Well coded with a great API.
Database is great as always
Very feature complete
Much easier to install than previous versions of AbleCommerce
The admin dashboard with graphs and such is pretty snazzy.

I think my favorite part is the ability to customize. I'm loving the conlibs and an eagerly awaiting better documentation on the whole thing.
