SIte Map Creation / Submission

I have 50,000+ items but when I create an XML sitemap it only creates SiteMap1.xml and SiteMapIndex.xml. It appears, based on the Able Documentaiton, there should be additional SiteMapX.xml files because of the store size.
My google webmaster tools gave me the following error "Too many URLs
Your Sitemap contains too many URLs. Please create multiple Sitemaps with up to 50000 URLs each and submit all Sitemaps" .

Am I missing something?

I think you will have to modify the code to filter the URLs somehow and create several site maps.

....even though AC7 sitemap page states that "Name of the SiteMap file. This setting will be ignored if sitemap grows beyond 50,000 URLs and multiple sitemap files are created. The file names will be SiteMap1.xml, SiteMap2.xml and so on"

Well, sorry, I didn't know that. I don't know the answer then. Able will have to answer and if it doesn't happen like they document, you should post a bug.
