I got a test account with Authorize.net with the following info:
API Login: XXXXXXXXXX
Transaction Key: XXXXXXXXXXXX
Secure Server Address: This is the URL you will need to access our test
environment.
Transaction POST URL: https://test.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll
When I add the payment gateway there is no field to enter the URL.
1st question: where do I need to place it ? or is it hard-coded already (pre-built) ?
2nd question: when placing an order what credit card info needs to be entered for tests
(name on card, card number, expiration, year, verification code) ?
Thanks,
Michael
How to set up Authorize.net?
Re: How to set up Authorize.net !
See "Gateway Mode" on the setup form. There is no need to configure the URL.
While in Test/Test mode, any number that passes mod10 can be used for cc account value, with any name, cvv and just make sure expiry date is in the future.
Traditional ones are 4242424242424242 (VI) and 5454545454545454 (MC).
You should also be able to get specific test numbers from authorize.net.

Thanks, Nick.
Indeed, the URL is hard-coded. It's working now.
