Multi Destination Bug

We are not up to testing live orders on a real credit card yet, but we think we have found a bug in the multiple destination feature.

If you go through the steps to place an order with multi destinations, set some different addresses and shipping types, pay with credit card, and use a number that wont complete the transaction,
the multiple destinations entered do not get transferred to the order in the admin panel.

We usually call the customer when the transaction fails, so we would need there to be a record of their multiple destinations even if it fails.

The multiple addresses should be stored in the user address book regardless of the success or failure of the order checkout process. Have you looked there yet?

They store correctly, but the order shows as a one shipment location.

If we corrected a CC and the customer never mentioned it was going to multiple locations - guess what. It's going to one single.

Little clarification:

Multiple Shipments work flawlessly if they CC or payment goes thru.

If the payment fails - the order reverts to a 'single' shipment order.

Ahhhhh ok I understand better, sorry.

I'd put a ticket in with Able, definitely sounds like a bug to me. I've never seen it happen, but then I can count on one hand how many orders I've had with multiple ship-to addresses.

Submitted today.

We have multiple customers per week asking about this feature. Alot of times they just place two orders. It would be a neat thing for them to only have to place one.

Is the fix for this issue already available? We are also experiencing the same problem.
