DataPort utility is used for CSV and XML uploads.

Could you tell me about this? Or does the sataport utility work better or easier?

I do not know how to get the dataport to work with my CSV file. I have items, each with a main category and 3 subcategories. Isn't there a way to do this where the items are put in the respective categories automatically, and if it is the same categrory name it knows "hey, this category name, and subcategory are the same, so I dont hav eto create it again.. so the product goes here!" Any suggestions, tips comments? Please?! I was trying to attach my .CSV file so you can see what I am talking about, but I am not allowed to upload a csv file to the forum for some crazy reason. I even changed the extension to aspx and it still wouldnt let me upload. Sorry. Here is an idea from a the file:
