Email Setup

I have configured email exactly as mentioned in the help document. But when I send a test mail, i do not get any confirmation that the mail sending is success or failure. The sent mail is also not received. What could be the problem?

Are you trying to configure GMail as SMTP Server. Check the following thread.

I am using a dedicated server. The outgoing mail server is mail.itsouq.com. I am using MS Outlook to pull emails from this server and i am able to receive/send all emails from Outlook using this server. But when I send a test mail through AC7, the email gets lost. The mail does not go through and there are no error messages in AC7 that the email could not be delivered.

Not sure about this but I suspect that it is an issue with the configuration of the mail server itself. It is not allowing "local to external" mail.
What is your mail server software?

I am using MailEnable provided by the hosting company.
