Google Checkout: Can AC 7 handle reauthorization?

I'm interested in if/how AC 7 was designed to handle Google Checkout's <authorize-order> xml api command. I want to start preselling products that won't be released by the manufacturer for a few weeks and with the typical authorization command, the hold only lasts 7 days with the initial authorization. The <authorize-order> command allows the merchant to put through a reauthorization command after the initial 7 day hold ends before charging, which is what would work well for preselling items.

Does AC 7 handle this currently? If so, for those that use Google Checkout, have you used this feature yet, and what are your experiences with it?
