Abandoned basket

If a user gets to the payment page but does not enter any payment info - simply closes the browser - is there a way to capture the abandoned basket and send the user an email? I cannot find any matching actions in the email templates for this.

The abandoned basket shows up in the reports, but there is no configuration to email the customer.

What a shame... Judy created a great plugin for 5.5 that allowed us to email customers with abandoned baskets and offer them a coupon to come back. We had a lot of success with that.

I guess I'm going to post a Feature Request :)

Hi all,

Does anybody know when exactly a basket is considered to be abandoned by AC (and therefore show up in the abandoned basket reort)?

A basket is considered abandoned if the user have no activity within last 30 mnts. Also here is a post regarding Email alerts for abandoned baskets.
