AbleCommerce Shopping Cart Software

I'm looking to integrate with different 3rd party systems to handle fulfillment, tele-sales and account systems. Can anyone give me a little guidence as to their experiences with this. Has Able Commerce been modified to work outside of the norm?

I do this sort of thing daily with my site. One integration is fully automated and updates the AC7 catalog with the distributor database every 15 minutes. The other is initiated with a manual download and update routine.

I also electronically "push" orders to a distributor for fullfillment, so there's no data entry on my part as well. The last step is shipment posting, but I haven't had time to get around to that this fall.

And finally, I have routines I wrote that electronically add new products directly from the distributor data in bulk. That way I can add whole new product lines in a single step.
