USPS shipping rates are incorrect

No matter what weight we put in for a product the same shipping rate comes back from USPS. I think this is a bug. There are dimensions on the products entered into the catalog.

What are the dims/weight of the product in question? Depending on method selected, there may be minimum charges. If you haven't done so already, try an order with a larger size/weight.

Tried different weight with same rate returned. Changed dimensions to 49L 9W 37H with same rate returned. The AC USPS dll does not seem to pass correct info to USPS or is getting the incorrect rates.

Hello,
You must set the product to ships separately for it to pass the dimensions.

Sorry, ships separately? Where is this? Does having components affect this problem in any way? It is set to shippable.

We changed it to ship separately and increased the weight and for USPS Parcel Post the rate returned is not changing. The client ships bicycles and when they go to the Post Office the rate quoted is over $100. These are odd-sized boxes, that are large. USPS brings back a rate of $30.64 cents when it should be over $100.

Hello,
I'm sorry I don't think dimensions work with USPS, that's a feature for the other gateways. I misread the post thought it was UPS. You'll likely need to just keep upping the weight to get it close as possible to the dimensional weight.

USPS defiantly needs dimensional support. some size boxes ship for weight if within so many miles of you. After that they ship for size.
