AJAX Issues During Checkout on One Page Checkout

I've had several reports from customers that have tried to check out on our AC7 site but they were not able to get to the second part of the one page checkout. The reports are consistant, too. They all say they were able to enter their billing info, but when they hit continue, the page grays out and the "Processing" indicator comes up and never goes away.

I just went through this with a customer that was interested enough to report the problem and I was able to check out fine. He mentioned he uses Safari on a Mac. I've never done any testing on Safari. Has anybody had any similar reports or experienced the same issue?

I have checked the final demo with safari on windows and it worked.

I've received quite a few reports of similar behavior on Safari 2. Safari 3 seems to be okay.
