no shipping methods available

I've added UPS and FedEx as Integrated Carriers to my installation. Each has three shipping methods available to all warehouses, all groups and all zones. I've enabled debug mode for both, but no log files have been generated (assuming I'm looking in the correct logs folder).
When I go to check out, or use the shipping estimator, I receive a message stating that no shipping methods are available for my items.
I've already confirmed that the products have assigned dimensions and weights. I'm not sure what else I need to configure to allow these shipping methods to apply to my products.
Can anyone offer any other tips on what I should be setting up?
