Hi, my clients would like to do a 20% off deal on a complete category but it looks like Able only supports special pricing on individual item level. Thats not possible as the number of items in the category is too large to do 1 by 1. I guess I could use the volume discount feature to set the min qty to 1 but that doesn't look good to the customer on the website since they won't see the discounted price in the search results or item detail, only when they've added it to the cart. I want them to see the discounted price right away as they would with special prices. Please tell me I'm missing something and that special prices can be set at the category level? Seems like a simple feature, not sure why I'm missing it.

Pricing rules are supported on product level only.

In the future will Able be have the ability to support categories?

You can create a poll for this in features request forum.

If this is a new site you could use the copy function to make 1 product and put it on sale, then copy the product.

A copy to feature for "Pricing Rules" would be nice, if you could select multiple products for it to copy the Pricing Rules to.
