We purchased the standard AC7 license for the domain navon.com.au a little while back and I have a couple of questions (which other members might also be interested in!).
1) We want to configure an SSL certificate on https://secure.navon.com.au. In your online help, the following statement is made: "If you have your store running on different domains for secure and non-secure, then enter the SSL Domain. Otherwise, leave this field blank. Note: To use this feature, you MUST have a license key that responds to the secure and non-secure domains. "
Does the standard license support this?
2) Since deploying to our production server for testing, I've noticed that all requests in the browser to "www.navon.com.au" are being transformed to "navon.com.au" (losing the "www").
Could this something AC7 could be doing?
SSL on sub-domain and dissapearing www
Re: SSL on sub-domain and dissapearing www
SSL only work on one domain, so http://www.navon.com.au or navon.com.au not both, You would need 2 SSL's to do this. lots of sites do not use www any more. But if you want to, you would need to edit your SSL to be http://www.navon.com.au
