https to http page and not showing URL re-write address

Whenever someone goes to checkout (https page) and then leaves checking to surf the site again, the pages that are served up no longer have the URL re-write property on it.
For example.
If you want to go to
https://www.website.com/page-W23C9.aspx, it redirects you to
http://www.website.com/Webpage.aspx?Web ... tegoryId=9
What is a solution to this?

That is strange. I noticed it did it on one site when I click on a link in the left menu. Then if I click on a link that is in the resulting page, it switches back to rewrite.

Even more stranger..
I am looking at my Google Analytics and the top content.
They have both the URL re-write page and the actual URL listed in their stats.
/Category.aspx?CategoryId=32 and /Mens-Sunglasses-C32.aspx are the exact same page.
This is very bad.. and if google is reading both links.. this would be cause for duplicate content penalization. Everyone should be worried for this and a fix needs to be done asap. It can effect many businesses and search results.
AC Staff! I would like you guys to chime in more on this one.

Did you find a fix for this?

Unfortunately I have not.
Possible solution is 301 redirect all those category pages but that is allot of work when you have 1000's of products.
Did not hear from AC staff on this one.

I just noticed this too:
clicked on Weight Loss on the menu:
....com/Weight-Loss-C21.aspx
went to Account page
...com/login.aspx
clicked on Weight Loss on the menu again:
...com/Category.aspx?CategoryId=21
How big of a problem is this with SEO?

It might be fixed by disallowing search engines on the pages that are secure. For example, the login page- they can't get past that one without logging in, so if you disallow on that one, good search engines wouldn't pick up the https link and go on to other pages.
