AbleCommerce Shopping Cart Software

Just curious if anyone out there has implemented the BillMeLater gateway? We are working on some new big ticket items, and thought it might be nice to offer payment alternatives. If anyone has any experience with this, I would love to get your thoughts and advice on how this works, best way to implement, etc.

We gave it a try with Able 5. At that time, it was too much that had to be checked manually as far as the record of the payments etc. I had to go online and check everything and it was a little like Paypal where transactions would show several times instead of just the final one showing. We decided it wasn't automated enough back then, our customers didn't understand it, some checks were deposited automatically, some came in the mail and it wasn't a good fit for our demographics-- 12-24 year old kids, a lot using Mom's charge card to purchase with. I think it would go better for a site with higher dollar purchases and older customer's who didn't want to use a charge card on the internet.

The requirements to be a accepted vendor takes $10 million+ in sales just to join the program.
