SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer. The SSL protocol allows applications to communicate across a network in a way designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery.

You will have to change that in the database directly in the ac_StoreSettings table. The field is SSLEnabled and you will have to change that to False

On your other question about SSL, you have to purchase an SSL certificate and your web hoster could probably recommend a company that they use . You should also go to wikipedia or some site like that to find out more about running an ecommerce site. I'm not trying to be unkind, but you need to get a good general knowledge of all that is involved and things will be easier for you.

Can SSL be set for the entire cart? I am looking in the Store Configurations and though it can be set, it is only set for login or checkout. If it can be set in the database...if possible, I will research it.
