Newsletter for out of stock

I am looking for a good way to gather emails for out of stock items.

On my current site i make a little cheat. There is a form. You enter in your email and click send. It send an email to me with the subject being the Item you.
Then i manually send customers emails when they product comes in stock.

If i could have a newsletter opt in form show up when a product is out of stock. Any user even if they don't have an account can sign up to get a email.
