I want to build a product selector. This would be a custom coded page with questions for the customer. At the end if would give them a list of products / kits they can use.

The thing is with Kits i would like pre-select the options that fit there needs.
Im not sure if there is a custom url string i could use or need to use something to pass the data.

maybe something like this but for urls not skus?

You could try capturing the request.querystring as you put a kit into the basket. That is how I had figured it out in Able 5.

Almost, But i dont want to add the kit to the cart. I would like to display the kit so they can change colors extra.
