Manage / Order / New Order

When I try and place a phone order for a customer using the New Order button on the Order Manager screen I get booted out to my store home page.

I can click on the new order button, add an item to a new order, click on 'Place Order', fill out all of the billing and shipping info and then when I refresh for the shipping options - BAM - boots me to the home page and wipes out all the customer info...then we have to ask the customer to repeat all that info as they all of the sudden become reluctant to give us their credit card number. :oops:

Anybody else have this problem? I have tried it with a new user and I have tried it with an existing user and had problems both ways.

I didn't have any trouble on a test site and a real site I tried.

I always create the user account first, then use the Create Order button on the EditUser page. Works every time for me, no issues.

If it's crashing during the shipping method construction, it is possible you have some bad shipping method setups? Possibly a shipping method associated with a security group that your account belongs to?

I'm assuming visitor-side orders do not exhibit this behavior.

strange, could you reproduce the problem reliably? Do you have any customization in merchant order placement module? Your application version?
