Buttons don't seem to work

Sometimes when I'm at the backend and I need or have to press a button - the button doesn't seem to function. I refresh the screen a couple of times, go in and out, until it allows me to do the function I would like to perform. Is this a common occurrence and is there a way to fix it?

More detailed example - I go into the backend, the catalogue section- under 'Select a Category' i press x category to see the products within - nothing happens, refresh, nothing happens...etc.

this is driving me crazy - not quite if it's our computers (because it happens to many people) or if it's a server setup or a glitch.

A lot of the stuff on the backend, especially with the catalog, is AJAX a.k.a. Javascript.

Try updating your javascript on your PC or at least make sure your browser doesn't have a bunch of toolbars or other browser add-ons installed.
