I've seen another user's post from a year ago, and cannot find any updated info on the topic...we really need the ability to hide prices on certain products, with a line prompting to "Call for details". The current "hide" feature does not hide the prices efficiently. Any updates on this matter?

The hide pricing feature is working as intended, just like it does at amazon and other major websites. The customization to show 'Call for Price' with products that are zero dollar, seems to be a good solution to your issue. The other simple work around is to disable the purchase of the product and simply include in the product description 'Call for Pricing'.
Is there a reason you didn't want to use the approach that Mazhar suggested?
