Please explain variable page address

Please explain variable page address

I just noticed that the page address of a category can be changed to any number of things and the same page appears such as:

http://www.cameojewelrysupply.com/40x30 ... s-C57.aspx
http://www.cameojewelrysupply.com/40x30mm-C57.aspx
http://www.cameojewelrysupply.com/-C57.aspx

Could someone explain that.

I noticed because I had some old static links still working even after altering the category name. Wondering how a search engine sees these pages. Will it think I have two different pages with identical content?

I think its because category id is the same for all URLs. In above case its 57 for all URLs.
