Conlib Modifications not working!

I am using the conlib featured products grid on our home page. We have been trying to modify the display of the grid to no avail. We have copy and pasted the actual conlib code given in the help section that displays the various options several times and simply changed a couple variants. We changed the "size" to 9, columns to "3", and "thumbnail position" to "Top". No matter what changes we make, it continues to display the default of 2 columns and thumbnails on the left.

Are we doing something wrong?

I just tried following and it seems to be working for me

Give it a try by placing it in your scriptlet on home page.

Yay! That finally worked! I am puzzled why the other didn't work as this one just removed some of the "options", but it is working so I won't bother trying to figure it out
