More images - Productimages.aspx problem

Post by aaj » Thu Oct 14, 2010 1:58 pm

Hi

has anyone else experienced a problem with the default Productimages.aspx page?

The screen opens up ok with the photos fairly small in a horizontal direction.

Hover over either image and it zooms in so the image gets bigger

so far so good

When I click on the zoomed image the clicked image moves to the middle of the screen but resizes so it is very very small 1cm square. If I hover over it, I can almost see some text. I'm sure this can't be correct, has anyone and ideas?

thanks

Andy

P.S. I've just tried this with chrome and it works ok, the centre image is full size and the text says 'Direct link...'. It seems to be to do with IE8

I had this same problem and if I remember correctly, I fixed it by forcing IE compatibility mode to version 7. Try the following meta tag and see if it fixes the problem for you.

Code: Select all

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />

Is this still the best fix for this issue? Or am I missing a newer post/fix? My evaluation version 7.0.7 is still exhibiting these same symptoms in IE8.
