Product association to User Group

We have a custom products in our store, and in the old store (AC 5.x) I was able to associate a part with a user group.

For instance, product 551240 could only be accessed by users associated with user group 1240. I was able to set this on the product page.

In the new version of AC, I am no longer able to do this. Does anyone have any recommendations for accomplishing this?

I am not a programmer, so the easier the better.

If you look at code for something like volume discounts, you can use that as a pattern for your group selection. You could store the groups into the product custom field table.

It really wasn't part of Able 5 - it was custom coding.

Is this plugin something that your organization does? Is this plugin something that is already done or would it need to be completely customized?

Again, I am not a developer and it would take me a while to figure this out. Compare that to purchasing something already done, it's a no brainer for me.
