Basic Search issue

Something noticed on the basic search is that when the search is sorted A-Z, and say widgit #1 is the first item, if the sort order is changed to Z-A, Widgit #1 is no longer in the search results at all.

Anyone seen this issue?

If your search results span multiple pages widget#1 is likely to be on the last page now.

The search does span several pages, but the product is not on any of them on the Z-A search.

Logic says that if it was the first in the search, it would be the last when the sort was changed, but no such luck...
