Home Page Cusomization

Post by mdickinson » Mon Nov 15, 2010 3:32 pm

I am in the process of customizing our home page within our demo site. I have removed the image Header_Image.gif within the style.css but it is still showing up? I am new to AbleCommerce and .asp. I would be so grateful for any help along this learning curve.

You can view my demo URL here:

Ok. I think a completely customized home page has to do something with "Scriptlets". I think? Sorry for seeming so novice...first eCommerce site I have worked with.

Hi-

Go to the front end of the site and log in with your admin credentials. On the bottom of the page change "view page" to "edit page". You will be able to see the name of the header scriplet and can edit it right there.

Hope this helps.

Better is to make a copy of Home Page Scriplet and customize it according to your needs then on 'edit page' select your new home page scriplet.

I have done this and now need to customize the Category List. This looks like it is in the ConLib:Simple Category List.
