Payment Status

We only authorize payments with able commerce and later charge them in Stone Edge.

As a result when customers log in to see their order status under payments it always shows "pending". I have talked to Stone Edge and there is no way to edit this with stone edge once a credit card has been charged.

Does anyone know what controls this or where that could be edited to say "approved" instead of "pending"?

If Stone Edge is integrated with AbleCommerce then it should be part of the integration to make sure that when an order gets charged in Stone Edge it gets updated in AC.
Anyway as far as the order status message is concerned go to Configure -> Order Statuses and edit the display name of the corresponding order status.
