Uvumi Gallery not working in IE9

The Uvumi Gallery does not work properly in IE9. It will pop up the window and it will seem to have the images in that window but you can not see them or interact with them. I only know that it has the images because if you refresh the page the images will flicker then go away. Does anyone know a fix for this or a different gallery to use?

I experienced the exact same problem, however, I don't have a fix. I switched to http://galleria.aino.se/. So far I haven't found any problems with any of the browsers I've tested and it was pretty easy to implement.

I got it working now I want to resize the window it opens up in. hmmm....

Today I looked into this issue and figured out that mootools framework version 1.2 which was being used in Uvumi Gallery is not compatible with IE9. Soon after reading the discussions I had an impression that this can be fixed with latest release of Mootools. I read the requirements from Uvumi Gallery website about the Mootools components that are required and then downloaded personalized build of Mootools. Seems like it fixed the issue and I can see Uvumi Gallery is now working in IE9, Chrome and FireFox.

In order to patch this, download and extract the attached file. Then you need to copy/replace that extracted mootools-for-gallery.js in your Website/js folder. Now make sure to clear your browser cache and then try opening the gallery. Hopefully it will be working now.

The only way I was able to make the orginal code work in IE9 was by switching to compatibility mode
