HTML Validation Error

I'm working on validating our site on http://validator.w3.org/check and I get the error "document type does not allow element "title" here" on many of the pages. If I place the <title> tag in the Header section in the scriptlet, using the Content and Layout editor, it shows up in the correct location in the <head> section. Howver, the one that appears to be causing the problem is the title="titlename" parameter in the actual aspx pages in the website's root directory. I've tried changing the name here, eliminating it in the scriptlet, and deleting the title parameter in the aspx page entirely. However, it still produces the same validation error. Has anyone run across this? If so, what did you do to fix it?

The SEO Manger from Web2Market fixes it, plus has a lot of other features.
It is our best-selling plugin

Judy, thanks for that. I'm interested in this module, but I'm having a hard time getting my head around how this module really differs from the current product/category edit features in Able that allow you to place things in the header. It would be cool to be able to get rid of the title tag validation problems--I'm kind of OCD about trying to get my pages to validate--but I read the write up about the SEO Manager, and I'm not really understanding how it works differently than what Able currently does.

I guess I see it now--I didn't realize Able did not put any Meta keywords/description into the header. I thought it did. I think this might be a good thing. :D

Able does provide the header html box where you can enter things, but it doesn't generate meta stuff if there is nothing in that box.
