Yay!!!! Tables causing problems again. Again, why are we still using tables?
But when you have a category grid its structured with a tr with three td.
If you're on a category page with subcats and products, and the last row does not have three subcats, products fill the remaining tds to fill the row.
With modern standards, this would be easy to fix, however, since we're using tables and some of us have long since joined the rest of the world in 2012, how do you stop this behavior?
Thanks.
Bug Report: How to stop product in last table cell
Re: Bug Report: How to stop product in last table cell
Ah. It's actually a design flaw in AC. Might not be a bug report and just design flaw but I edited the title just in case.
AC is actually viewing subcategories as products. I noticed this because on the category page I was viewing it said "Showing Products 1-15 of 100." Since there were actually only four products on the page, I realized AC thinks the subcats are also products.

Hello...AbleCommerce...this is actually a pretty big concern at this point. I posted this report almost two weeks ago and have yet to hear a "Yay, Nay, we don't care either way." Please acknowledge this bug and let me know if a) you plan on fixing it, b) you don't plan on fixing it, or c) there's a way for me to fix it.
I think it's odd no one has noticed this bug before. I thought mixing categories, webpages, and products into the same categories was strange but it didn't take long to notice that AC considers everything you create to be a product. Obviously, I cannot purchase a subcategory, there are no option to do so, so why does AC consider it a product and list it as such?
