Low Inventory Item Purchased email won't work 7.0.3

I found a post that addressed this issue, but I don't have a login to http://bugs.ablecommerce.com/show_bug.cgi?id=8794.

How does one get a log in to this site?

The link you provided is part of an area that can't be viewed publicly. I did read the information, and it was about adding a feature so the Low inventory notification can be sent to Vendors of the products they are associated to. It looks like it was an enhancement made in version 7.0.6. You can see this in the change log here:

AC7-11 - Low Inventory Email should be able to notify a vendor

The Low Inventory email should be able to notify the merchant. Can you provide some additional details, like the email template To address, any trigger settings, and if you are sure the products are meeting the threshold for Low stock?

You can also check the Error log for anything that might not be obvious in the settings. If you are looking for Vendor notification specifically, then you would need to upgrade to version 7.0.6 to get this feature.
