Embed RSS Reader

So I have a private blog on the same site that the store is hosted.
I want to use the blog as a "latest news" function, so its easy to add in stuff
I'd like to be able to put those headlines in one of the sidebars on the store.
I'm not having a lot of luck in figuring out how to do this? Lots of reader sites (that have all sorts of feeds) or stuff I can run on a desktop.
I'm just trying to get the headlines embedded in the store so that customers can click on anything interesting and go read it.
any ideas appreciated
