CSS not working with Safari

Post by meer2005 » Tue May 06, 2008 2:51 pm

Safari wont pull the CSS when I select one of the new glass themes released with RC3. Has anyone else noticed this?

Here's an example using the Glass_Ruby theme recently released with RC3:

Safari Version 3.0.4 and 3.1.1

If anyone else is having this problem, just go here and validate your CSS:

http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/

Just enter the URL and it will shoot out valid CSS information at the bottom of the page, which makes it so Safari will not ignore your CSS.

How to get rid of blank lines in my css code? Something happened to my css code and I have a ton of blank lines between code. I don't know how to easily get rid of it. Does anyone know a easy way?

There are Css validators online and some of them have settings to where you can remove blank lines. Just make sure you save a backup before you start- I tried a validator that was too aggressive and disabled some styles.
